Everyone attending Summer Camp must have a completed Physical Form, including Part C, which requires examination by a doctor. Completed forms, along with a copy of the front and back of your health insurance card, are due as soon as it is complete, and should be turned in to Brad Clarke.
Summer Camp Early Bird Final Deadline
The final early bird payment is due at the meeting on April 12th. Scouts who have paid in full by this deadline and who paid the early bird payments will receive a $20 discount. A full list of camp fees is on the Summer Camp page. Payments can be given to our treasurer, Jack Dennis, and questions can be directed to Mike Baker.
Good Turn Weekend
Our next event is the Good Turn Weekend at Seven Ranges. A good turn project is required for the Pipestone Honor, so this is an important event. Please plan to attend.
We will camp in Pug Wug (our summer camp site) on Friday night, and we will complete the good turn project on Saturday, returning Saturday evening. The permission slip is due at the April 5th meeting.
Eagle Court of Honor for Liam Smith
Liam Smith will have his Eagle Court of Honor at 2pm on April 3rd. Details can be found on his invitation. Please plan to attend this event honoring Liam’s accomplishment.
Parent’s Meeting
There will be a parents’ meeting on April 5th during our regular meeting. This meeting will be designed for parents of scouts who crossed over recently, discussing troop policies and processes, but all parents may attend.
New Rank Requirements
Rank requirements changed in 2016. Any rank that a scout has already been awarded does not have to be updated or changed, but every scout earning a new rank must use the new requirements. Any scout who does not wish to buy a new book may print the New Requirements Form, which is designed to be folded and inserted into his book.
